Text Box: A Systemic, Unified 1890 Land-Grant Model for Creating, Capturing and Delivering Digital Learning Objects
Text Box: Alcorn State University’s J.D. Boyd Library, along with the School of Education (SMCET), the Department of Agriculture Sciences, the 1890 Association of Library Deans/Directors and  NAL will create a unique instructional delivery system for 1890 land-grant institutions to improve the quality of technology-based education in the food and agricultural sciences by developing a national model for training librarians and to identify, design, enhance, and effectively use digital learning objects. This collaborative team will  design a centralized digital repository and Internet portal within the 1890 library system to store digitized food &  agricultural science and related materials tailored for deployment by agricultural faculty, researchers, and library staff throughout the 1890 land-grant community.
